Cotton is a soft, fluffy staple fibre that grows in a boll, or protective case, around the seeds of the cotton plants of the genus Gossypium in the mallow family Malvaceae.
The fibre is almost pure cellulose. It is a shrub native to tropical and subtropical regions around the world, including the Americas, Africa, Egypt and India.

Production

Includes the production of Lint and Seeds.

Logistics: 

Aggregation, transporting, warehousing.

Processing

1) Lint: Yarn spinning, weaving of yarn/Knitting, processing of fabrics, products manufacturing from fabrics.

2) Seed: extraction of crude oil, Cake and meal, Refining oil, production of by products such as soap, glycerine, Fatty acid etc. 3) Hulls: feeds, Fertilizer, Bran, Pulp, Synthetic rubber, etc
